She is one of the most renowned hotel managers and consultants in Africa having recently been named amongst the coveted "Top 100 Women: Leaders, Pioneers & Innovators In African Travel & Tourism" during the AKWAABA Awards. Ms. Mingle has almost three decades of direct experience in hotel management and customer service in a broad range of roles and positions.
Ms. Mingle started her career working as a Trainee Manager with the Metropole Hotel Group at a number of hotels in Birmingham and London in the United Kingdom. She subsequently advanced to a Senior Sales Executive position, one of the pioneer staff at the LaPalm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana. She would rise to become the General Manager of LaPalm Royal Beach Hotels, the premier hotel in Ghana, following a short stint as the Group Procurement Manager at Golden Beach Hotels (also in Accra, Ghana). She is a much sought-after consultant involved in the development of new hospitality establishments and the improvement of existing facilities.
Given her extensive training and certification in various aspects of hospitality and hotel management, she has worked on the design and development of a number of hospitality projects. She has vast experience in general hotel operations at the top management level and a track record in hotel setups in the four and five star categories. She is currently the Lead Management Consultant overseeing the modernization and improvement of the 4-Star Ridge Royal Hotels. Ms. Mingle is a Certified Hospitality Supervisor, a Certified Hospitality Sales Executive, a Certified Hospitality Revenue Manager, and a Certified HACCP Inspector. In addition to a Post-Graduate Diploma in General Management, she holds an M.B.A. in Hotel & Hospitality Management from the Paris Graduate School of Management. She resides in Ghana with her family. At IDMANN Institute she oversees the hospitality and customer service training programs.
